Baby and Toddler Yoga
Baby Yoga:Baby Yoga is a combination of playful interaction and communication between parent and baby, baby yoga compliments baby massage perfectly and expands the benefits of touch with those of movement and relaxation.
Baby yoga consists of a series of floor based activities for parents and babies including massage, holds, stretching, singing and rhymes, game playing and relaxation. As babies develop the activities learnt from previous sessions will help them move into more challenging positions like rolling, sitting, crawling, standing and walking, these movements will be taught through loving interaction and fun.
Toddler Yoga:Toddler yoga is a continuation of baby yoga for mobile babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Using songs and rhymes alongside plenty of movement and stretching, this yoga set is designed to support the transition from babyhood to more developed forms of self-expression through movement. As babies make this transition to independence, physical contact with their parents is often diminished yet remains very important. The together aspect of this yoga sustains loving and playful contact, between the parent and child. Toddler yoga provides a positive shared routine as parents and children have fun together while exercising.
